How it works
We start with a phone call, no forms, no commitment. You describe the asset and your timeline. We give you a market assessment and the likely transfer process. Nothing leaves that conversation without your say-so.
We establish fair market value using current market data, lease rates and comparable transactions. Then we work our buyer network, off-market first. The asset is only listed publicly if you want it to be.
Once a buyer is secured, we coordinate the transfer process and liaise with all parties through to settlement. We help ensure documentation is completed correctly and submitted on time, reducing delays and keeping the transaction moving.
Tell us what you're looking for - fishery, entitlement type, location, timeline and budget. We keep your requirements confidential and work our industry network to identify suitable opportunities, including off-market assets.
We assist with licence history checks, transfer eligibility requirements and other due diligence before you commit to a purchase. For vessel packages, we can coordinate independent marine surveys and inspections prior to purchase.
Once terms are agreed, we coordinate the transfer process and liaise with all parties through to settlement. We help ensure documentation is completed correctly and submitted on time to avoid unnecessary delays.

✉️ Contact to DiscussWe typically work on a success-based commission structure, meaning fees are generally only payable once a transaction is completed. The exact fee depends on the type and complexity of the asset involved and is discussed upfront, so there are no surprises. If you’re seeking a market appraisal or other specialist services, any applicable fees will be clearly outlined before work begins. We’re happy to discuss your situation in an initial conversation, with no obligation to proceed.
No. Confidentiality is the foundation of how we work. Your name, personal details and the fact that you’re considering a sale are never disclosed to any third party without your consent. Any public listing details are agreed with you first, including whether vessel names, photos or identifying information are included. Many transactions are handled privately through our buyer network and never appear publicly at all.
We work across Tasmania and commonwealth commercial fishing industries, assisting with the sale, leasing and management of quota, licences and vessels. Our experience includes rock lobster, abalone, scalefish, tuna, shark, scallop and giant crab fisheries, however we are not limited to specific fisheries and welcome enquiries across the broader industry.
Yes. Buyers can register their requirements with us, including the type of quota, licence or vessel they are seeking, along with their budget and preferred timeframe. We work with our network of industry contacts to identify suitable opportunities, including some that may not be publicly advertised. There is no fee for buyers to register their interest.
Yes. We can provide an indicative market appraisal based on current market conditions, recent transactions and industry knowledge. Market appraisals can be useful when considering a sale, lease, purchase, succession planning or portfolio review. A market appraisal does not commit you to selling and can simply help you better understand the current market value of your assets. Any fees are discussed and agreed upfront.
Every transaction is different. Timeframes depend on the type of asset involved, the complexity of the transaction and how quickly all parties provide the required information and documentation. Once an agreement is reached, we coordinate the transfer process and keep all parties informed throughout. We are happy to discuss likely timeframes for your specific situation during an initial conversation.
Confidential, no obligation, no pressure. Whether you're buying, selling, leasing or seeking a market appraisal, the first step is simply a conversation.
